Field Application Notes
Why Alkaline Resistance Matters
Joint compound (mud) is highly alkaline. Cheap, untreated fiberglass will dissolve inside the wall over time. However, our mesh is coated with alkaline-resistant resin.
Mesh Tape vs. Paper Tape
Mesh tape is faster to apply because it sticks directly to the board. However, for internal wall corners, paper tape provides a sharper, cleaner crease.
