Why Kraft Paper Instead of Crepe Paper?

Standard crepe masking tape is soft and flexible, which is great for curves. However, kraft paper is much stiffer.

Stiffness for Straight Lines When workers pull a long line of kraft pre-taped film along a straight ceiling edge or baseboard, the tape stays straight without sagging. This stiffness guarantees a perfectly sharp, professional paint line.

Static Cling and Paint Removal

The HDPE film is electrostatically treated. It immediately clings to the wall, preventing the film from flapping in spray gun drafts.

Proper Removal Technique Pull the tape back at a sharp 45-degree angle while the paint is still slightly wet. Peeling after the paint fully cures might rip dried paint off the wall.
